Green Teens Staten Island

With the assignment of community service came the immediate thought of a boring, grueling yet necessary task. When I came across the Green Teen Staten Island program on the NYC Service website, my original thought was gone. I saw an oppurtunity to do something I would enjoy but gain my service hours at the same time. It was a chance to do something positive that would effect my own neighborhood environmentally. I would encourage my friends and kids my age in my community to enroll in this program because it allows you to make positive changes around your home that affect you and those you know.
